What we charge, and why.
Two numbers, both visible before you commit. There is no delivery fee because there is no delivery.
A flat convenience fee per order, shown in full at checkout.
Of the food subtotal. No listing fee, no subscription, no charge for a day you do not cook.
A worked example
A ₹180 thali. You pay ₹189 — ₹180 for the food and ₹9 to us. The cook keeps ₹171; our 5% commission is ₹9. Our gross on that order is ₹18, out of which come payment-gateway costs, verification and support.
When cooks get paid
Weekly, to the bank account or UPI ID on their application. Commission and any refunds appear as plain subtractions on the settlement — nothing is rolled up or renamed.
Refunds
When an order is refunded, the buyer gets the full amount back, including our convenience fee. The commission is reversed from the cook’s next settlement.
These numbers can change
Fees are versioned. Every order snapshots the rule it was sold under, so a change never rewrites a receipt you already have.
