Three steps, no delivery rider in between.
Orderly.Food is not a restaurant-delivery app. It is a small marketplace for limited portions of home-cooked food, collected by hand from a neighbour.
Three steps, no delivery rider in between.
Why pickup only
A rider costs more than the margin on a ₹180 thali, and home food does not survive forty minutes in a bag. Walking five minutes keeps the price honest and the food hot. It also means a cook can sell four portions rather than forty, which is the whole point.
Why the portions run out
Every listing is a real number of real portions someone is actually cooking today. When they are gone they are gone — nothing is restocked, and nothing carries over to tomorrow. The notch strip beside each meal shows exactly how many are left.
Why you pay before you know the address
These are people’s homes. The exact door is released to you only after your payment clears, and only for the day of your pickup. Before that you see the neighbourhood and an approximate distance, which is enough to decide whether it is walkable.
What happens if something goes wrong
If a cook cancels, you are refunded in full to the same payment method, usually within two working days. If the food was not what was described, open the order and tell us — food-safety reports are read the same day.
